LongBeach.biz, published by Webhaus LLC, is supported by affiliate commissions and may carry advertising. This page explains what that means.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site lead to products and services sold by other companies. If you book or buy through one of those links, the site may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Programs the site participates in, or has applied to, include:
- Booking.com, through the CJ Affiliate network, for hotels near the cruise terminal, the convention center and downtown, including the pins on the map. The site joined the program on October 2, 2026.
- Ticket sellers, for attraction tickets sold by authorized resellers, such as the Aquarium of the Pacific and Queen Mary tours and whale-watching trips.
- Tour and activity marketplaces, such as Viator, for Long Beach and Catalina tours.
- Airport transfer, car rental and parking reservation services.
- Business services, on pages about starting a business: company formation and registered-agent services, point-of-sale systems and business insurance quotes.
Pages and maps that contain affiliate links say so at the top, and the links themselves are marked as sponsored in the page’s code. The site has no affiliate relationship with the City of Long Beach, the Port, Carnival, Catalina Express or the Aquarium of the Pacific’s own box office; links to those go to their own pages without a commission.
What commissions do not change
Businesses, hotels, operators and services are described from their own published facts and from the sources cited in each article: what a permit costs, where a hotel is, what a ferry’s page says about parking. The site does not accept payment for placement, does not write reviews, does not invent ratings, and names the free or public route first when the facts support it. Several pages say plainly that no paid service is needed: the state’s own filing forms, the city’s free business-advising programs, the free seller’s permit.
Advertising
The site may display advertisements served by an advertising network once it qualifies for one. Advertisers do not influence content, and the editor does not choose which ads appear.
