Where to book Current rates for show week.
Attendees of a trade show, a consumer show or a concert at the Center ask the same four things before they go: what the buildings are called, whether the Wi-Fi is free, where to eat inside, and where to sleep. This page answers each from the Center’s own pages and flyers, as of October 2026, and says where they differ. It sits in the section Getting In and Out of Long Beach; parking and transit are in Long Beach Convention Center Parking and Getting There.
The short answer
| If you are… | Do this |
|---|---|
| Looking for a room or hall by name | Use the venue list below: Halls A to C, the Arena, the Terrace and Beverly O’Neill Theaters, The Cove125 |
| Needing Wi-Fi in a hall | Free access is stated for common areas, meeting rooms, lobbies and food courts; exhibit halls “are not public areas” and may not have it89 |
| Wanting lunch inside | Seaside Café, Seaside Deli, Long Beach Grill, Center Café or Coffee Shop in the halls; Pacific Café in the Promenade Lobby10 |
| Carrying a bag to a concert or Arena event | 5″ x 8″ x 2″ or smaller, and all bags are searched11 |
| Booking a hotel on the Center’s own street | Ocean Boulevard: Westin Long Beach, Fairmont Breakers, Marriott Long Beach Downtown12 |
The venues by name
The Center’s facilities page lists “three dynamic Exhibition Halls”, “34 meeting rooms and a Grand Ballroom”, Long Beach Arena, and “Turnkey Spaces: Beverly O’Neill Theater, Terrace Theater, The Cove, The Wave Pedestrian Bridge, Terrace Theater Plaza & Lobby”1. Its home page adds Top of The Lot, the Promenade Atrium & Plaza and the Rainbow Bridge, and states “more than 400,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space”13. A planners page says “four ballrooms”15.
- Exhibit halls. “Three multi-faceted exhibition halls that can be used individually or in combinations of up to 224,000 square feet of contiguous floor space”; the dining page names them Hall A, Hall B and Hall C210.
- Long Beach Arena. The Arena holds the Pacific Ballroom, the Pacific Gallery & Patio and Bogart & Co.310.
- Terrace Theater and Beverly O’Neill Theater. The entertainment side lists “more than 3,000 seats” for the Terrace Theater; no page read gives a size for the Beverly O’Neill14.
- The Cove. It “occupies the area in front of the Seaside Meeting Rooms below the Terrace Theatre”6.
- Levels. The facilities menu names Campus, Arena, Seaside Level, Promenade Level 1, Promenade Level 2, Pacific Ballroom, Theaters and Exhibit Hall1.
The Center also lists “two VIP lounges, a full-service concierge/restaurant reservation desk, hospitality catering and an on-site audio/visual supplier”1. No page read names a business center.
Official pages disagree The Arena’s seating capacity is “13,500” on the convention-side page and “13,000” on the entertainment-side page34. The elevated pedestrian bridge is “The Rainbow Bridge” on the Center’s home page and its Wave page, “The Wave Pedestrian Bridge” on its facilities page, and the campus-map page promises a “Pacific Breezeway pedestrian bridge (coming soon)” without a date16713. The pages settle neither the capacity nor the bridge’s name, so this guide gives both figures and all three names.
Wi-Fi
The Center’s 2026 flyer: “Free Wi-Fi is available in the common areas, and meeting rooms. Premium onsite Wi-Fi is broadcast throughout the facility.”8
| Network | What it offers | Price as of 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| “LongBeachFreeWiFi” | Enter an email address; “1 Day- 1.5 Mbps Free” per user licence | Free |
| “LongBeachWiFi”, 5 Mb | Premium | $53 (1 day), $95 (2 days), $134 (3 days) |
| “LongBeachWiFi”, 10 Mb | Premium | $74, $133, $188 |
| “LongBeachWiFi”, 20 Mb | Premium | $95, $171, $241 |
Source:8. “Internet access is available on one unique device, per purchase”, “Wi-Fi is broadcast at the 5 GHz frequency only”, and questions go to (562) 499-77108.
Official pages disagree The flyer puts free Wi-Fi in “common areas, and meeting rooms”. The provider’s 2026 exhibitor guide (Boldyn Networks) says complimentary Wi-Fi is in “most designated public areas of the facility, such as the concourse lobbies and food courts”, and adds “Exhibit halls are not public areas … the license may or may not call for complimentary Wi-Fi services”89. The reading that fits both: free in lobbies, food areas and meeting rooms; not assured inside an exhibit hall.
The guide also notes that a personal hotspot is “limited by your carrier’s spectrum” and that the building has a “Distributed Antenna System (DAS)”9.
Food on site
The Center’s dining page lists these outlets, with no opening hours and no statement of which run at a given show10:
| Location | Outlet | What the page says |
|---|---|---|
| Hall A | Seaside Café | “traditional, 100% all-beef jumbo hot dogs, snacks, water, sodas, and energy drinks” |
| Hall A | Seaside Deli | “hoagie-style sandwiches”, “Freshly Grilled Paninis, salads and wraps” |
| Hall B | Long Beach Grill | “freshly grilled hamburger”, “crinkle cut french fries” |
| Hall C | Center Café | hot dogs, snacks, drinks |
| Hall C | Coffee Shop | “Serving Starbucks coffee”, “Grab ‘n Go meals” |
| Arena and Pacific Ballroom | Dog Pound; Arena Café; Long Beach Coffee; Bogart & Co. | hot dogs; paninis, salads and wraps; Starbucks coffees and teas; Bogart & Co. is a “350 capacity restaurant, bar” with “traditional table service” |
| Promenade Lobby | Pacific Café | “freshly made pizzas”, made-to-order sandwiches, pastas, “Grab ‘n Go” salads and wraps |
Source:10. The Center says the city’s shopping, entertainment and dining are “all within walking distance” and gives no distance15. The Promenade garage is at E Seaside Way and Pine Ave, an address and not a walking time16.
The bag rule and outside food
The Center’s code of conduct for entertainment events allows “Personal Bags that are equal to or smaller than 5″ H x 8″ W x 2″ D”, and states “All bags are subject to search. Bag Policy may vary by show.”11 It bans “Outside Food or Beverage (including candy)” and “Glass Bottles, Metal Cans, Cups, Coolers, Camelbacks, Bota Bags, or Metal Water Bottles” at Terrace Theater, Beverly O’Neill Theater and Arena events11. The rules for consumer and trade shows are in a separate document that was not read for this page. Luggage is covered in Luggage Storage in Long Beach.
Hotels on the Center's streets
The Center’s attendee page is a short landing page that links to its directions and parking, dining, things-to-do and code-of-conduct pages17; no Center page read states a walking distance. The tourism bureau’s hotel listing gives six addresses on East Ocean Boulevard, East First Street and East Broadway12:
| Street | Hotel | Address |
|---|---|---|
| East Ocean Boulevard | The Westin Long Beach | 333 East Ocean Boulevard, 90802 |
| East Ocean Boulevard | Fairmont Breakers, Long Beach | 210 East Ocean Boulevard, 90802 |
| East Ocean Boulevard | Marriott Long Beach Downtown | 111 East Ocean Boulevard, 90802 |
| East First Street | Courtyard Long Beach Downtown | 500 East First Street, 90802 |
| East First Street | Best Western Plus Hotel at the Convention Center | 517 East 1st Street, 90802 |
| East Broadway | Hotel Metropolitan | 505 E Broadway, 90802 |
Source:12. The Center’s own address is 300 East Ocean Boulevard13. The full comparison by street is in Hotels Near the Long Beach Convention Center, and the planned Long Beach map will show them against the Center.
