Luggage Storage in Long Beach: The Operators With a Stated Location, the Convention Center Bag Rule and What the Terminals Allow

In brief

Luggage storage in Long Beach is sold through apps whose own pages list prices from $1.99 an hour to $6.90 a day as of October 2026, and only Bounce prints a street address and opening hours for a Long Beach location. No page published by Long Beach Airport or Metro states a baggage-storage or locker service, and the Convention Center’s bag rule is “5” H x 8″ W x 2″ D” for entertainment events.

  • Bounce, 330 Pine Ave (90802): from $4.25 a day, open Tuesday to Thursday 7 p.m. to 2 a.m., Friday 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 2 a.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.3.
  • Bounce, 3217 E Carson St (90712): from $4.25 a day, Monday to Friday 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.4.
  • Stasher says it has 2 Long Beach storage points from $2.49 a day; LuggageHero is from $1.99 an hour; Radical Storage is from $6.901256.
  • Metro Rail has “a designated space” for luggage at the end of rail cars, not a locker service8.
  • Convention Center entertainment events: bags “equal to or smaller than 5″ H x 8″ W x 2″ D” and “subject to search”; no bag check is mentioned7.

A suitcase between check-out and a flight, or between arrival and a hotel check-in, is a logistics gap that official Long Beach pages mostly leave open. This page lists the storage operators whose own pages name a Long Beach location, with the hours and prices each states as of October 2026, then what the Convention Center, Metro and the airport pages say about bags. For the wider picture see the section pillar, Getting In and Out of Long Beach.

The rule applied here is narrow: a fact appears only where the operator’s or venue’s own page states it. Hotel bell desks are not covered, and the cruise terminal and Catalina Express have their own pages.

Each row is what the operator’s own Long Beach page states (read October 2, 2026). Prices and cover change often; the operators’ pages are the live source.

Bounce

Bounce’s two Long Beach listings are the only ones in this set that print both an address and opening hours. The downtown listing’s hours are late: nothing is listed for Monday, and the page’s own header reads “Open from 18:00 to 02:00” while the weekday table shows Saturday opening at 11 a.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m.3. The page also shows distance labels, “3 min from Long Beach” and “32 min from Queen Mary”, without saying whether they are walking or driving times3.

The Carson St listing is labelled “Long Beach Airport” and “30 min from Long Beach Airport”, again without a travel mode; the page does not say the site is at the airport itself4. The downtown page advertises “Free cancellation” and “$10,000 protection”; the Carson St page, as read, printed neither34.

Stasher, LuggageHero and Radical Storage

These three print a price and a promise of partner locations, not a map-ready address. Stasher says “Stasher sets no bag-size or weight limits”; a cancelled booking “can receive either a 50% refund or a 100% coupon”1. LuggageHero says “We store all kinds of luggage – any size and any shape”, “Cancellation is always free”, “An 8-hour no-show fee applies only if you neither cancel nor collect your bags” and “Our partner locations do not accept cash”2. Radical Storage’s pages carry a guarantee of “€10,000”, and the Long Beach Airport page adds “Free cancellation”56.

Where to check The Stasher, LuggageHero and Radical Storage Long Beach pages print no street address for a partner site, so the operator’s own listing for the site is where an address and hours would appear125.

What the Convention Center says about bags

The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center’s code of conduct for entertainment events allows “Personal Bags that are equal to or smaller than 5″ H x 8″ W x 2″ D”, adds “All bags are subject to search. Bag Policy may vary by show”, and says the Center “does not provide weapon lockers and will not check in weapons”7. A bag check or cloakroom for luggage is not mentioned on the Center pages read for this page7. The code covers events at the Terrace Theater, the Beverly O’Neill Theater and the Arena; the rules for trade and consumer shows are in a separate document that was not read for this page7.

For the venue layout, food and Wi-Fi, see the Convention Center attendee guide.

What the terminals and the Grand Prix say

Metro. Metro’s rail page states: “Luggage and other large items have a designated space on Metro Rail. The space is usually located at the end of rail cars and is marked with a yellow decal.” Bikes “can be brought onto trains if space is available. Tandem, 3-wheeled or fuel powered bikes are not allowed”8. No Metro page read for this guide mentions luggage lockers at stations.

Long Beach Airport. The airport’s transportation, accessibility, shop-and-dine, and parking-and-directions pages state no baggage-storage or locker service9101112. The absence of a statement is not a statement that none exists.

Grand Prix of Long Beach. The race’s prohibited-items page bans “Bikes/skateboards/hoverboards”, “Scooters/powered scooters/eBikes/eTrikes”, “Folding stadium seats”, “Large umbrellas”, “Ice chests larger than 14″” and “Seat cushions larger than 11″ x 14″”. It has no suitcase or backpack size rule and no luggage check, and the page carries no year13. Race-weekend logistics are in the Grand Prix 2027 guide.

Good to know Two operators print cover figures that differ within their own pages: Stasher’s comparison table shows a “$13,000” guarantee, and LuggageHero’s text says “a bag guarantee of up to $500” while its comparison chart shows insurance “Up to $3,000”12.

Cruise terminal and Catalina Express luggage rules are on their own pages: Catalina Express From Long Beach and Hotels Near the Cruise Terminal. The site earns a commission on some hotel, ticket, transfer and parking links, which does not affect what is recommended.
